National Center for Seismology said a terrible earthquake of 4.5 magnitudes hit Ladak. It included that the focal point of the seismic earthquake was 200km North West of Kargil and the depth of the quake was 25 kilometers. It is the fifth quake to hit Ladakh in the last three weeks.
Prior today, a quake of 2.8 magnitudes had hit Haryana's Rohtak. As per the NCS, the tremor happened at 8.15 pm at a profundity of 25 kilometers. There were no reports of any harm of assets or humans, authorities confirmed.
Its focal point was in Ladakh, the Meteorological Department stated, including that tremors were additionally felt in many places of the Kashmir Valley and Kishtwar and Doda in the Jammu area.
