As a part of Unlock 5, Cinema halls are set to reopen in many states. From October 15, many halls are reopening in some states after seven long months of shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Theaters will reopen in states like West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. The cinema halls in states like Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra remains closed.

Mandatory Social Distancing & Sterilized Food

People who are going to theaters to watch movies will have to follow certain rules and COVID-19 safety precautions. All cinema halls will have only 50% of occupancy and every individual should follow social distancing protocols. 

Cinema halls will perform Thermal screen and PPE kits for staff are mandatory.
