On the 24th of May Minister Ashok Chavan was tested positive for the Covid-19 virus was shifted to a hospital in Mumbai, after quarantining himself in the hospital he successfully got rid of the virus and was discharged on June 4th but was told to stay home for a while, the news of him getting discharged was shared through a 10-sec video of him on social media.

Housing Minister Jitendra was the first person to contract the virus before Ashok Chavan in the Uddhav Thackery government. Considering the number of cases and the level of ease at which the virus spreads  Cabinet ministers have been taking meetings through video conferences as to avoid assemblies and are claimed to be working from secluded areas to stay safe.
